It's "well known" that Elvis was under the control of the CIA after a brief moment of genuine independance. They broke him in the army. Went in a Hound Dog, came out a Teddy Bear.

As Bill Hicks said back in the late 80s, talking aboput Debbie Gibson, Tiffany and Rick Astley...."Who buys this shit, man? Is there this much baby sitting money going round? This is all just a CIA plot to make you think shopping malls are good."

Really? I think music has been in the doldrums for about a decade now.

What was the last classic album in your opinion? I can't think of one lately.

This is nothing new. The pop(ular) music industry has alway been manipulated to a greater or lesser extent.

If nobody bought it they wouldn't do it. The real problem is the sheep who feel the 'have' to buy it and pretend they like it just to fit in.

Listen to everything and buy what YOU like. It's not difficult.

So what you're saying is Modern Music Is Shit?

You could've said that without the waffle, but I've got news for you, there has always been shit popular music and those out for a quick buck, the process has merely been fined tuned and industrialised .

Hth

People who only think the charts in music get up in arms about how music is dead and how Simon Cowell is the devil.

People who source their music elsewhere are the smart ones.

Simple as that.

This is all true, but on the other hand more amazing music is being made now than ever before, and it's freely available
